Like Riding a Bike

I've decided that taking care of pre-schoolers is like riding a bike, it all comes back to you quickly! There are 5 pre-schoolers in the home and I have been trying to set aside at least a couple hours in the morning each day to play with them while most of the kids are at school so that the staff can get their work done. It has brought back memories from a long time ago!

I made play dough the other day in 5 different colors and it turned out really well, thanks to a great recipe Leslie Ficker, fellow missionary, gave me. They played with it for over an hour the first day! I consider that a success!

We also found some bright colored plastic balls at a store here in San Andres. They have enjoyed those too. Success with the balls is that we have used them more than once without them getting lost or picked up by a dog and popped!


The school age kids enjoy reading as well as the pre-schoolers. Norman and I both enjoy taking time to read to them whenever we can.
